Set in a war torn country side this play blends the mythical with the hyper real to retell the story of Hansel and Gretel, two fraternal twins forced to flee into the woods, taken in by a maniacal doctor for experimentation, and left to fend for themselves.

Using a cast of multi-ethnic expatriate teenagers in Singapore the play aimed to expose the youth of a sheltered and highly privileged society to the harsh realities of refugee life, war, grief and loss, as well as the power of the imagination.
